THE PROCESS

All foods available through Mill Harvest have been freeze dried and packaged into airtight Nitrogen Packed #10 cans or pouches. Up to 98% of the residual oxygen has been removed. This unique canning process uses both vacuum oxygen removal and nitrogen flushing. This is a time consuming and slightly more costly process but well worth it! This is the same process mandated by the U.S. Military by whom these same products are used by.

SHELF LIFE

These products have the longest shelf life available…up to 30 years! Each can is coated with a protective enamel inside and out for double protection, including the lid. The cans contents are protected until you are ready to open and use them. After opening, we recommend using the contents within 2 to 3 weeks for best results and taste; using the convenient resealable lid between uses. You can treat left over food as you would any other left over food.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Open can
  2. Pour one cup serving of dry food into bowl
  3. Add 1-1/2 cups per serving of boiling water
  4. Mix and let sit for instructed time (6-9 minutes)
